Men's Ministry

No matter where you are in your faith, an ACTS Retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and encounter Christ in a deeper way. Rooted in Adoration, Community, Theology and Service, this retreat offers men time for prayer, reflection, honest conversation and brotherhood with others from the parish.

Alpha is a relaxed, welcoming space for men to step back from the busyness of life and explore faith, purpose and the big questions we all carry. Over a shared meal, engaging video and honest conversation, men are invited to talk openly, listen well and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Whether you are strong in your faith, returning after time away or simply searching for more, Alpha meets you where you are. It is not a class or Bible study, but a place for real conversation, brotherhood and renewal in the Holy Spirit.

The Bible Timeline offers the men of MQP a clear and engaging way to understand the story of Scripture from beginning to end. Guided by Jeff Cavins, this study walks through the major people, places and events of salvation history, helping men see how God’s plan unfolds throughout the Bible.

Fisher’s of Men brings men brings men together to share faith along with the reading and discussion of Holy Scripture.

All are invited to join our Saturday morning prayer group in the church as we lift up the many needs of our parish community, our families, and the world. We gather each Saturday at 7 am and pray until approximately 8:15 am, with special prayers offered for the unborn and their parents.

This is a peaceful and welcoming time of prayer. You are invited to come when you can, stay as long as you are able, and leave whenever you need. Together, we pray all four mysteries of the Holy Rosary and conclude with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

One of the most meaningful ways men can serve at Mary, Queen of Peace is through the liturgical ministries of the Mass. Whether welcoming parishioners at the doors, proclaiming the Word of God or assisting with the distribution of Holy Communion, men have an important role in helping our parish family pray well and encounter Christ more deeply.

Men are invited to consider serving as ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion or lectors. Ushers offer hospitality and help create a welcoming, orderly environment for worship. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in sharing the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence and care. Lectors proclaim the readings at Mass, allowing Scripture to be heard clearly and prayerfully by the whole assembly.

That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!
