Sometimes family life can feel a bit chaotic. It may seem as though waves are crashing around us, the wind is knocking us off balance, and our boats are about to tip over. That is why we developed our Family Faith Formation program for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade.

In Christ in the Chaos, we invite Christ into the midst of our daily lives and center our families on Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. As we grow in our understanding of the Catholic faith and encounter Jesus both in our homes and through the Sacraments, we come to experience the “peace that surpasses all understanding” (Philippians 4:7) and rest in the peace of Christ. He calms the storms within us and reminds us, “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).

Our Christ in the Chaos program includes one monthly formation session at Mary, Queen of Peace, along with at-home lessons and activities throughout the rest of the month. Our at-church sessions explores the richness of the Catholic faith while equipping parents with the resources they need to form their children as disciples of Jesus Christ. Families are then given everything they need to engaging and interactive lessons and activities to continue formation at home.

The registration fee is $110 for the first child and $15 for each additional child, up to three children per family. Families registering more than three children may register additional children at no cost. Registration fees cover family faith formation materials, classroom supplies, and a 2026–2027 Christ in the Chaos T-shirt for each registered child.
