BLAST is a Comfort and Joy initiative designed to bring our Mary, Queen of Peace family together intentionally for faith, fellowship, formation and acts of service. This FREE community event welcomes people of all ages and stages of life. What is BLAST?
BLAST brings together three pillars:
Believing - deepening our faith through prayer.
Learning - formation sessions that explore the Church's teachings and their meaning for us.
- Serving - concrete acts of charity that embody Mary's maternal love

Called to Be SaintsJoin us for our annual BLAST event on Sunday, November 1, following the 11:30 am Mass as we celebrate All Saints Day with service, fellowship, and faith formation. This year, we are leaning into the call to be saints—even when it costs us everything.
For our service project, we invite each person or family to bring a favorite boxed dessert mix to donate—cake mix, brownies, cookies, or another sweet favorite. And don’t forget the frosting and sprinkles! These donations will help us share a little extra joy with others in our community.
A meal will be provided, so come hungry and enjoy time around the table with your parish family. Our formation for the day will be a special early screening of Episode 1 of Season 6 of The Chosen, giving us a powerful opportunity to reflect on discipleship, sacrifice, and what it means to follow Christ faithfully.
This event is free, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can plan well for food and seating. Please complete the RSVP form on this page by Monday, October 26.
