Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst." (John 6:35)

Welcome to our family-focused Sacramental Preparation Program at Mary, Queen of Peace!
We believe that the family is the primary place where a child is taught, formed, and nurtured in the Catholic faith. Through our program, parents journey alongside their child and reaffirm the “I do” they professed on the day of their child’s Baptism, promising to raise them in the Catholic faith.
We recognize that this can be a challenging responsibility. In response, we have created a program that equips parents to deepen their understanding of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist while providing practical tools to help them pass on the Catholic faith to their children.
As we partner with parents during this sacred season of preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, we answer Jesus’ call to “let the little children come to me.” Through the power of God’s Word, we teach children about the mercy of God encountered in Reconciliation and the true presence of Jesus Christ—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—in the Holy Eucharist.
All of the information you need can be found on this webpage. Please review both the webpage and the information packet carefully so that you are aware of all program expectations and requirements.
Registration is currently open for our 2026-2027 preparation program and will close on August 24, 2026. Registration is not complete until payment has been received (financial assistance is available upon request) and a copy of the candidate’s baptismal certificate has been submitted.
If you are registering after the deadline or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Audrey Huck, Director of Children's Formation.
