Known. Beloved. Created for More.
Mothers and daughters are invited to spend a beautiful afternoon together at Wonderfully His: A Mother-Daughter Tea, a special event created to celebrate the unique bond between mothers and daughters while helping young girls discover the truth of who they are—and Whose they are.
Rooted in our Catholic understanding of identity and St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body, Wonderfully His will encourage girls to recognize their God-given dignity, beauty, and purpose and to see themselves as beloved daughters of God.
The afternoon will include tea and refreshments, shopping and socializing, games and activities, as well as inspiring witnesses from women in our community who will share their own stories of faith, identity, and discovering God’s purpose for their lives.
Most importantly, mothers and daughters will have the opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, enjoy one another, and create meaningful memories together.
Registration:
$40 — Mother & Daughter
$50 — Mother & Two Daughters
Come enjoy a lovely afternoon together and leave with a beautiful reminder:
We know that one afternoon cannot answer every question your daughters may have—or every question parents will eventually need to navigate with them. Wonderfully His is designed to help begin the conversation.
Rooted in the truth that we are created in the image and likeness of God, this mother-daughter retreat will provide a beautiful and age-appropriate opportunity to talk about the goodness and gift of our bodies, the dignity of being created as women, and how we are called to be good stewards of this gift in our relationships with God, others, and ourselves.
Most importantly, we hope this day helps “break the ice,” giving mothers and daughters a shared language and foundation for conversations that can continue naturally at home as girls grow and mature.
Doors will open immediately following the 11:30 AM Mass for check-in (roughly 12:45 PM). Mothers and daughters will have time to socialize, enjoy tea and treats, and shop from local vendors before our structured program begins at approximately 1:30 PM.
Throughout the afternoon, mothers and daughters will hear from women in our community on topics designed especially for this important stage of a young girl’s life:
Rooted in His Love: Identity & Withstanding Peer Pressure - Presented by Rachel Price, this talk will focus on discovering and embracing our unique identities as beloved daughters of God while offering practical guidance for navigating friendships and withstanding peer pressure. Girls will be reminded that when Jesus is at the center of our hearts and lives, He strengthens and guides us in the relationships we build with family, friends, and those around us.
Wonderfully Made: God’s Plan for Your Body - Presented by Catholic pediatrician Dr. Jill Fitzpatrick, this session will offer girls an age-appropriate introduction to the way their bodies function from a biological perspective while helping them recognize the beauty, goodness, and intentionality of God’s design.
A Bond to Treasure: Strengthening the Mother-Daughter Relationship - Melissa and Lucy Treuting will share from their own experience as mother and daughter, offering encouragement and practical ideas for cultivating a relationship built on trust, communication, faith, and love.
Mother/Daughter Breakout Session - During a special breakout session, daughters will head to the Youth Room for a fun game and age-appropriate activity. Meanwhile, mothers will have an opportunity for conversation, questions, and practical guidance with Dr. Jill Fitzpatrick, Melissa Treuting, and Tiffany McGoey as they seek to accompany their daughters through the years ahead.
Throughout the afternoon, our sessions will be interspersed with games, activities, door prizes, tea, treats, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.
Our hope is that mothers and daughters leave Wonderfully His feeling celebrated, encouraged, informed, and better equipped to continue these important conversations at home—while remembering above all that they are wonderfully made, deeply loved, and forever His.
