Into the Deep with Dr. Carol Razza Deep Encounter • Deep Surrender • Deep Mission
This three-day Lenten Mission invites parishioners to step courageously into the depths of faith through a renewed encounter with Jesus Christ. Into the Deep is an invitation to move beyond the shallow waters of routine and into a living, transforming relationship with the Lord, one that leads to authentic surrender and a renewed sense of mission.
Over the course of three evenings, we will explore what it means to truly encounter Christ, to surrender our hearts more fully to His grace, and to be sent forth on mission as His disciples in the world. This mission is designed to inspire spiritual renewal, healing, and deeper trust in God’s call for each of us during the sacred season of Lent.
Our Lenten Mission will be led by Dr. Carol Razza, whose dynamic teaching and pastoral wisdom speak powerfully to both heart and mind. Please join us Monday, March 2, through Wednesday, March 4.
Holding Pain with Hope: Mary's Seven Sorrows in our Spiritual and Physical Motherhood
Every woman is called to motherhood — spiritual or physical — and with that calling comes deep love… and often quiet, hidden suffering. Through the Seven Sorrows of Mary, we will gather to reflect on how Our Blessed Mother walks with us through grief, worry, sacrifice, and surrender, teaching us how to hold our pain with hope and trust in God.
Join us for a beautiful morning of Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, brunch, and a powerful witness talk by Jill Cabes, as we come together in prayer and sisterhood.
Friday, March 13
8:30 AM – 12:45 PM
Mary, Queen of Peace Church, Mandeville
$25 per woman (Brunch provided by The Reminding Coffee & Creative House)
All women are welcome — mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, those longing for motherhood, and those carrying silent struggles. Mary meets us all.
The Lord delights in personal time with us—in open hearts, ready to listen and be changed. Prayer heals, directs, renews, and draws us deeper into the heart of Christ.
What if every single day this Lent, we had parishioners dedicated to praying intentionally for our community?
Of course, we can pray any time and all the time for the needs of our parish, but this Lent we are asking our parishioners to sponsor a particular day so we can be sure all days are covered in a special way this season.
Click the button above to choose one (or more) day this Lent to pray intentionally for our parish.
On your chosen day, spend 30 minutes in prayer praying for
the intentions of our parishioners,
the conversion of hearts in our families and our greater community,
and a deepening of our faith as we journey towards Easter Sunday.
Do you have a special intention you would like us to pray for this Lent? Click the link below to post your prayer intention on MQP's Prayer Wall.
Join MQP for our Lenten Summit Night on Thursday, February 26, from 6:30-7:30 pm. In keeping with the spirit of Lent, we will not gather for a social event this month. Instead, we will be collecting teddy bears to support Hope House and their mission of serving children in our community. Thank you for helping us extend Christ’s love and care to those in need.Save the date Summit Night, March 26!
